Amazon stopped prepping your inventory. We didn't.
Since January 1, 2026, Amazon no longer labels, poly-bags or bubble-wraps your FBA units — inventory must arrive prepped, or it risks receiving problems and lost reimbursement. Marcana 3PL preps your inventory FBA-ready from Miami, so your products keep flowing.
- Amazon preps your units
- Marcana preps it — Miami, ready now
- FNSKU · poly-bag · bubble · labels
Improperly prepped units risk receiving problems — and may not be reimbursed if damaged or untraceable. Don't risk your inventory.
Price my prepWhat Amazon changed on January 1, 2026
Amazon discontinued the prep services sellers relied on. The work didn't disappear — it moved to you.
FNSKU labeling — discontinued
Amazon no longer applies your FNSKU barcodes. Every unit must arrive already labeled, or it can't be received.
Poly-bagging — discontinued
Bags with the required suffocation warning are now your responsibility — done wrong, units get blocked.
Bubble-wrapping — discontinued
Fragile-item protection is no longer Amazon's job. Improper prep means damage with no reimbursement.
Amazon won't prep it anymore. It has to arrive ready.
Amazon no longer preps or labels US FBA shipments — your inventory has to arrive ready. Improperly prepped units risk receiving problems, and damaged or untraceable inventory may not be reimbursed. Prep it yourself, or let a prep partner handle it end to end.

Founder-led prep — not a faceless warehouse
I'm Saul Ortiz. I've spent 10+ years moving product for B2C and B2B brands — receiving, prepping, packing and shipping — and I built Marcana 3PL to do one thing exceptionally well: get your inventory into Amazon clean, compliant and on time. When Amazon stopped prepping in 2026, my team became the hands that do it for you. You deal with me and my crew directly — not a ticket queue.

Get my quoteYou don’t have to be in Miami. Your inventory does.
Amazon now requires every unit to arrive prepped, and it requires a US address on the account. If you are selling into the US from somewhere else, those two requirements are the wall. This is how sellers get past it.
A real US address, in your name
Your inventory lands at 19599 NE 10th Ave in Miami — a 13,000 sq ft climate-controlled warehouse, not a mailbox. It is counted and photographed the day it arrives, so you can see what showed up without being in the room.
Send it DDP — that part stays yours
Duties, taxes and clearance are paid by you or your freight forwarder before it reaches us. We are not a customs broker and we do not act as importer of record. Freight tendered any other way can be refused or held at your cost, so settle this with your forwarder up front.
Your supplier can ship us direct
Cartons, pallets or a floor-loaded container — from your factory, your consolidator or your forwarder. Pre-declare what is coming and it gets processed the day it lands. Undeclared freight sits, because we have no way to know whose it is.
One contact, two languages
English and Spanish, same team, WhatsApp or email. You are not filing a ticket into a queue and waiting a day to find out whether your container arrived.
We prep and ship. We do not advise on entity structure, tax treatment or customs classification — those belong with your accountant, attorney or licensed broker.
Everything you need to know
Amazon discontinued its FBA prep services — FNSKU barcode labeling, poly-bagging and bubble-wrapping. Since January 1, 2026, Amazon no longer offers prep or item-labeling services for US FBA shipments — every unit must arrive already prepped and labeled. Improperly prepared inventory can face receiving problems and may not be eligible for reimbursement if it's damaged or untraceable. Sellers can prep in-house or use a third-party prep provider like Marcana 3PL.
You (or your supplier) send your inventory to our Miami warehouse. We prep and label it FBA-ready, build your Amazon shipment, and ship it to the Amazon fulfillment centers. You keep full control of your Amazon Seller account and shipment plans.
Yes — FNSKU labeling is our core service, along with poly-bagging (with the required suffocation warning), bubble-wrapping for fragile items, expiration/date labels, and removing or covering old labels.
Most prep jobs ship within a few business days of receiving your inventory; we confirm the exact timeline when we review your shipment. Operating from Miami, we're well-positioned for fast, cost-effective inbound to Amazon.
Per-unit prep runs about $0.35–$1.25/unit depending on prep type and volume (automatic discounts at 500 / 2,000 / 5,000 units), plus receiving and outbound. There's a $75 minimum prep order and a $49/month account fee (first month free with your first order). Use the calculator above for an instant estimate.
It's an accurate estimate based on our standard published rates. We confirm the final quote after a quick review of your product details — size, fragility and any special handling.
Those are custom requests and aren't auto-quoted. Add a note in the form (or your product description) and we'll quote them separately.
No — outbound freight/postage to Amazon is billed through your own carrier or Amazon account. We build and label the shipment; you control the carrier. This keeps your costs transparent.
Miami, Florida (19599 NE 10th Ave, Suite A-B). A central, fast and cost-effective base for inbound to Amazon fulfillment centers across the United States.
Yes, optionally — $35 per pallet per month if we hold stock before shipping. Many clients ship straight through with no storage.

Yes — a large share of what we prep arrives from sellers who have never set foot in Miami. You do not need to be in the country for us to receive, prep and ship your inventory into Amazon. What you do need is a way to get the goods here with duties already handled, and a Seller Central account you control.
No. We are a prep and fulfillment provider, not a customs broker, and we do not act as importer of record. Send your freight DDP — duties, taxes and clearance paid by you or your forwarder — so it arrives at our dock ready to unload. If your shipment is tendered any other way, it can be refused or held at your cost.
Yes, and most do. Cartons, pallets or floor-loaded containers all work. Tell us in advance what is coming — carton count, contents, tracking, carrier and estimated arrival — and we will have it counted and photographed the day it lands. Undeclared freight can sit, because we have no way to know whose it is.
That is a question for your accountant or attorney, not for us — entity structure and tax treatment are outside what we can advise on. What we can tell you is the operational side: we need a verified business contact, a Seller Central account in your control, and freight that arrives DDP.
